We are the first synthetic thatch manufacturer in the world to make its leaves entirely from recycled materials.
The material is recycled HDPE, not a generic plastic. It is one of the most durable polymers made, and it holds its shape, its colour and its strength through years of sun, rain and heat.
Every leaf gives that material a second life, and often a third.

By eliminating the need for repeated harvesting of palm leaves, grasses and reeds, synthetic roofing can help preserve vegetation and surrounding ecosystems. Its long service life also means fewer replacements, less material consumption and less waste over time.
Using recycled materials takes this approach even further. Instead of relying on newly produced raw materials, existing resources can be given a second life and transformed into a high-performance roofing solution.

Installation
Easy to order. Easy to install.
Minimum recommended slope: 30 degrees. Install over a closed deck (plywood or OSB) or over battens spaced to suit the structure.
1. Prepare the structure
Make sure the deck or battens are clean, sound and correctly spaced before you start.
2. Set the first row
Start at the bottom edge of the roof and align leaves horizontally to establish a true line for the rows that follow.
3. Keep the overlap
Maintain NextPalm Thatch's recommended spacing between each following row for even coverage and proper drainage.
4. Fix the leaves
Fasten each leaf firmly to the structure with corrosion-resistant screws, nails or staples.
